At Blakedown CE Primary, we believe that personal, social, health and relationships education underpins the children's mental and physical health.  We follow Jigsaw, the mindful approach to PSHE as it is a spiral curriculum that covers all aspects each year at a level suitable for each stage of the children's development.  PSHE links to other areas of learning such as online safety, science, P.E., spiritual, moral and cultural aspects.  We believe that the children's mental health and personal resilience supports their joy and happiness and impacts directly on their educational achievement.
